Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Waterfalls – Armed Village
The 5 Days Mount Toubkal Trek begins with pickup in Marrakech and drive to Imlil. Enjoy mint tea, then hike through Berber villages and Imlil’s waterfalls. Have lunch outdoors and continue to Armed village (2,000m) for dinner and overnight in a Berber guesthouse.
Day 2: Armed – Sidi Chamharouch – Toubkal Refuge
Depart at 8:00 a.m. and ascend via juniper forest to the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. After lunch and a local market visit, continue up to the Toubkal Refuge. Enjoy hot tea, cake, and a hearty dinner at the refuge before overnight stay.
Day 3: Acclimatization – Explore High Altitude Trails
Today, take an acclimatization hike above the refuge. This part of the 5 Days Mount Toubkal Trek helps you prepare for summit day. Return to the refuge for lunch, tea, and evening rest.
Day 4: Toubkal Summit – Return to Refuge
Early morning summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). Weather permitting, enjoy panoramic views across the Atlas range and Sahara. Descend to the refuge for overnight stay and celebration dinner.
Day 5: Refuge – Imlil – Marrakech
