Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tizi Tacht – Tizi Oussem
The 4 Days Berber Villages & Toubkal Trek starts with a drive from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad. Meet your guide and mule team, then ascend to Tizi Tacht Pass (2,005m) for great views of the Azzaden Valley. After lunch, descend to Tizi Oussem for a homestay with a Berber family.
Day 2: Tizi Oussem – Mzik Pass – Imlil – Armed
Today, visit Toubkal National Park and hike to the waterfalls. Cross Mzik Pass (2,500m) for panoramic views, descend to Mzik village for lunch, and hike to Armed — the largest village in Imlil Valley. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Armed – Sidi Chamharouch – Toubkal Refuge
After breakfast, trek up through the juniper forest past Sidi Chamharouch shrine. Enjoy lunch along the trail and continue up to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) for overnight stay.
Day 4: Toubkal Summit – Return to Imlil – Marrakech
Early morning start for the summit push to Mount Toubkal (4,167m). After enjoying the breathtaking views, descend back to the refuge for lunch, then return to Imlil where transport will take you back to Marrakech.
