Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Gliz
The 6 Days Berber Villages & Toubkal Trek begins with a drive to Imi Oughlad. Meet your support team and trek through walnut groves to Gliz village via Tizi Lbour. Overnight in a Berber home.
Day 2: Gliz – Oukaïmeden – Tizi n’Addi – Tacheddirt
Climb through forests to the Oukaïmeden ski station (3,700m), then cross Tizi n’Addi to enter the Imnan Valley. Overnight in Tacheddirt, the highest village in the region.
Day 3: Tacheddirt – Ikkis – Aguersiwal – Matat
Descend through traditional Berber villages and farmlands. Cross Tizi n’Aguersiwal and reach Matat, a picturesque mountain village. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Matat – Azzaden Valley – Tizi Oussem
Trek along Azzaden Valley and up to Tizi Oussem village, visiting local homes and waterfalls along the way. A gentle day to absorb Berber culture.
Day 5: Tizi Oussem – Sidi Chamharouch – Toubkal Refuge
Climb toward Imlil and continue up to Sidi Chamharouch. After a hearty lunch, trek up to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) for your final night before the summit.
Day 6: Toubkal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech
Summit Mount Toubkal (4,167m) early morning. Take in sweeping views across the Atlas Mountains. Return via the same route to Imlil, then transfer back to Marrakech.
