Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tizi Oussem
Depart Marrakech and head into the Atlas Mountains. Start trekking from Imlil through waterfalls and terraced fields. Overnight in a Berber guesthouse in Tizi Oussem.
Day 2: Tizi Oussem – Tizi Mzik – Imlil
Continue trekking via Tizi Mzik Pass (2,500m) and descend into the Ait Mizane Valley. Spend the night in Imlil.
Day 3: Imlil – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Drive through Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping at UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. Continue via Skoura and Rose Valley to Dades Gorge. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Visit Todra Gorge then drive through Erfoud to reach Merzouga. Camel trek to the desert camp. Dinner and overnight in the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Agdz
Sunrise camel ride back to Merzouga. Visit local souks in Rissani. Drive to Agdz along the Draa Valley. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Agdz – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
Head toward Ouarzazate. Visit local kasbahs and cinema studios. Stop again in Ait Ben Haddou before overnight stay nearby.
Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Final drive over the Atlas Mountains, returning to Marrakech by early evening. End of the 7 Days Berber Villages & Desert Tour.
