Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tacheddirt
The Toubkal Summit via Lake Ifni 6 Days trek begins with a scenic transfer to Imlil. From there, hike to Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279m), descend through Ouaneskra village, and arrive in Tacheddirt. Overnight in a Berber home.
Day 2: Tacheddirt – Imsker – Amsouzart
Hike over passes and lush valleys toward the remote village of Amsouzart. Cross through terraced farmland and riverside paths. Overnight in a village guesthouse.
Day 3: Amsouzart – Lake Ifni
Trek into the spectacular Ifni Valley. Arrive at the emerald green Lake Ifni (2,295m), one of the few lakes in the High Atlas. Camp beside the lake under the stars.
Day 4: Lake Ifni – Toubkal Base Camp
Ascend from Lake Ifni via steep zigzag paths to Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,685m), then descend to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Rest and prepare for the summit day.
Day 5: Summit Mount Toubkal – Return to Imlil
Early morning summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). After enjoying breathtaking views, descend to the refuge for brunch, then continue down to Imlil. Overnight in guesthouse or transfer to Marrakech.
Day 6: Imlil – Marrakech
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and return drive to Marrakech, marking the end of your unforgettable Toubkal Summit via Lake Ifni 6 Days trek.
