Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tinerghourhine
Travel to Imlil to meet your mule team. Begin trekking via Tizi n’Tamatert pass, lunch at 2,279m, and continue through Berber villages to Tinerghourhine (1,600m). Overnight in a local gîte.
Day 2: Tinerghourhine – Ikkis – Id Aissa
Trek through the Imnane Valley past Ikkis and over Tizi n’Aguersioual (2,000m). Lunch in Matate village, then continue to Id Aissa (1,800m). Overnight in a traditional gîte.
Day 3: Id Aissa – Tizi Oussem – Dades Gorge
Descend to Imlil and transfer by vehicle to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate. Visit kasbahs and landscapes. Overnight in a guesthouse in the gorge.
Day 4: Dades Gorge – Todra Canyon – Merzouga
Explore Todra Gorge on foot, then continue to Merzouga. Camel ride through the dunes to reach your desert camp. Overnight under Saharan stars.
Day 5: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Watch the sunrise over the dunes. Visit Rissani, then drive through the Draa Valley, stopping at palm groves. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Tour Taourirt Kasbah or Cinema Museum. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the Atlas back to Marrakech. End of your 6 Days Berber Villages & Desert journey.
